Executive directors of Ministries urged to listen to councillors' concerns

The National Council has appealed to the executive directors of all ministries, to avail time to listen to councillors when they raise concerns during debates on social and economic issues, particularly in rural areas. Its secretary, Advocate Tousy Namiseb, says unlike in the past, at present they do not have the privilege of any members of the executive sitting in their chambers and concerns raised by councillors are largely unheeded.
