Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Derek Klazen has been urged to first consult unions before awarding fishing quotas to companies. Union leaders at Walvis Bay claimed that some companies have allegedly not been giving correct information about their employment conditions and investments just to increase their quota allocation.
