Former Deputy Mayor of Rundu, Ralph Ihemba has died at an age of 56. Ihemba died from COVID-19 complications in a Windhoek hospital early this morning. SWAPO's Rundu district coordinator, Gabriel Hakusembe confirmed Ihemba's death, saying he was admitted in Rundu Hospital at the beginning of this month and was transferred to Windhoek. Ihemba served as deputy mayor from December 2015 to 2019 on SWAPO's ticket.
