Founding President Sam Nujoma has paid tribute to the late Tanzanian president John Magufuli, likening his deeds to those of Julius Nyerere. In his message, Nujoma described Magufuli as an unwavering pan-Africanist who will be remembered for his development-oriented leadership in Tanzania and the continent at large. Nujoma added that the late Magufuli followed in the footsteps of Tanzanian Founding President Julius Nyerere who provided visionary leadership during the most difficult period in Africa. Nujoma signed the book of condolence in honour of Magufuli at the Tanzanian High Commission.
