The Freedom March Movement, a civic society organisation in the Kavango West Region has called on the Regional Council to allow the public to attend ordinary council meetings as stipulated by law. The movement claims that while other Regional Councils follow the law and allow the public to attend council meetings, it is not the same for Kavango West Region, since the birth of the region in 2013.
