Fuel prices will remain unchanged in June. In a statement, senior public relations officer in the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Andreas Simon, says petrol prices at Walvis Bay will remain at N$10,35 per litre at the pump, while diesel remains at N$11,13. In explaining the review, Simon says globally, increased demand is expected in the near term, as more countries continue to ease their respective lock-down restrictions. That follows months of subdued demand caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, and a subsequent drop in production by oil-producing countries - which resulted in the prevailing fuel prices.
