Namibia turns 31 on Sunday. However, not all Namibians are enjoying the fruits of independence as they remain stateless. At the Gam settlement in the Otjozondjupa Region, some residents still do not have national identity documents since they arrived from Botswana in 1993. This has resulted in the residents not fully participating and benefitting from the various national programmes.
