Gaob Johannes Kaoseb of the #Gaban ||Aes has died from COVID-19 complications at the Okahandja hospital. Gaob Kaoseb, who was born in Gochas, was appointed as the second Chief of the #Gaban ||Aes in 2019. Kaoseb was well-known as an exemplary leader who worked tirelessly for the recognition and upliftment of the #Gaban ||Aes community and played a pivotal role in the fight for land rights. Gaob Kaoseb is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
