HSF, DRFN embark on sustainability project in north-eastern regions

The Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Namibia and Desert Research Foundation of Namibia (DRFN) have started a sustainable forest management project in the northern regions of Kavango East, Kavango West and Zambezi. The project titled ‘Promoting Sustainable Forest Management in the Kavango-Zambezi-Region in Namibia (NSFM)’ commenced in October 2020 and is set to run for three years. It is funded by the European Union with an amount of N$8,6 million.
