A member of the Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) accused the party's leader Dr Panduleni Itula of not practising what he preaches. During the 2019 Presidential and National Assembly Elections, Dr Itula presented himself as a defender of Namibia's Constitution. Itula accused SWAPO of disrespecting constitutional provisions and ran as an independent presidential candidate against the wishes of the party.
