What appeared to be a misunderstanding between the election officials and the leader of IPC resulted in him first not being allowed to vote. However, after consulting election supervisors, he was finally allowed to vote Dr Panduleni Itula arrived to cast his vote at the Mandume Primary School and joined the queue. However, some of his supporters approached the presiding officer for Dr Itula to go straight into the voting hall. But presiding officer Albertina Shiwale said there will be no preferential treatment given to anyone.
