Scores of people flocked to the premises of Mashare Berries, a company based in Kavango East's Muroro Village, hoping for temporary employment. The same individuals had staged a demonstration this week, calling on government to revoke the leasehold land rights that were awarded to the close corporation Shipapo Wa-Mbambangandu. That company has partnered with Mashare Berries to expand a blue berry production project and create job opportunities for the youth.
