Kharas inhabitants should benefit from oil of commercial value if discovered- Swartbooi

The Landless People's Movement (LPM) has proposed that oil giants, Shell, Total and National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (NAMCOR) consider allocating shares meant for the overall development of the ||Kharas Region, to the inhabitants. LPM president, Bernadus Swartboo says this should be done through trust funds or potential joint ownership of the projects, should oil of commercial value really be discovered.
