Khomas Region is most of the time the epicentre of infectious diseases such as TB, Hepatitis-E, HIV/AIDS and the current COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, there is a need to strengthen and re-organise stakeholders for effective response to the health challenges in the region. The Governor of the region Laura Mcleod-Katjirua said this during the Khomas Regional Aids Coordinating Committee breakfast held in Windhoek.
