Walvis Bay Urban Constituency Councillor Knowledge Ipinge has registered with the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) as an independent candidate to contest in the upcoming elections. ECN regional coordinator Amos Nguaiko said aspiring independent candidates have until 14 October to submit their registration forms while political parties have until 16 October.
