A Community-Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM) ranger is urging Namibians, especially those residing in the Kunene Region, to be mindful of the Welwitschia plant when clearing land for development and personal reasons. Welwitschia mirabilis is a unique desert plant, represented on the Namibian coat of arms.
