President Hage Geingob has described late retired Lieutenant Colonel Vilho Shafombambi as a distinguished son of the soil who contributed immensely to the independence of Namibia. Shafombambi, who died on 3 March in Windhoek, was buried at Eenhana Memorial Shrine in the Ohangwena Region on Wednesday.
