Landless People's Movement (LPM) member Fatima Jossop has been officially sworn in as the new Councillor of the Keetmanshoop Town Council. Jossop replaces one of three LPM former councillors, Maree Smit, who is the former Keetmanshoop Mayor, Sydney Skakana and Willie Kisting. The trio was recalled for allegedly defying party directive on water disconnections at the town.
