The Namibia Lives Matter Movement once again marched through the central business district of Katima Mulilo to demand justice for the recently murdered three Namibian fishermen and their Zambian cousin, by the Botswana Defence Force (BDF). The group stopped by some shops owned by Batswana and called for the closure of such shops in Namibia. The group's national chairperson, Sinvula Mudabeti says failure by the Government to answer to their demands will result in the community taking the law into their own hands and confronting the BDF directly at the country's borders. They also demanded an apology from Botswana's president, Mokgweetsi Masisi for the brutal murder of the four fishermen and 37 other Namibians allegedly killed by his forces. Zambezi Governor, Alufea Sampofu received the petition and promised to forward it to the relevant authorities.
