Martinus Pretorius found guilty of rape and human trafficking

A former South African police officer who faces charges of rape and human trafficking, stemming from his reported actions at Swakopmund in 2012, was found guilty as charged in the High Court. 50-year-old Martinus Pretorius was found guilty on six counts of rape and five counts of human trafficking in persons, after he reportedly received a number of underage children at his house at Swakopmund, where the children were alleged to have been used for sexual exploitation, in exchange for money between April and May 2012.
