The Namibia Medicines Regulatory Council (NMRC) is initiating a recall of paracetamol tablets, imported and supplied to Central Medical stores by Mozart Medical Supplies. This product is manufactured by Yiling Pharmaceutical Ltd in China. The recall is a result of the product failing the appearance test. The tablets contain black spots and therefore not suitable for distribution. NMRC also said any other batch of the same product having similar issues should be recalled.
