The Ministry of Mines and Energy Namibia is hosting a three-day stakeholder engagement programme in Windhoek to create a positive relationship between the ministry and its stakeholders. The stakeholder engagement will focus on discussions and information sharing on the introduction of Geoparks in Namibia, Minerals Bill, Diamond Bill, Green Hydrogen in Namibia, New Oil Discovery and Illegal Trading of Fuel. Officiating the opening of the engagement, Deputy Minister Kornelia Shilunga said the objective of the engagement is to ensure that parliamentarians are up to date with what is happening within the ministry so that they can make well-informed decisions in parliament. The ministry will also get input on how it can best maintain its constitutional mandate and improve service delivery for all Namibians. The Stakeholder Engagement started today and will end on Friday.
