After being resettled on farming units, many resettled farmers experienced challenges with deteriorating infrastructure and farming practices, due to a lack of allotment letters from the Government. As part of the efforts to allow farmers to invest on their farms, the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform recently awarded 99 year lease agreements to a group of resettled farmers in Hardap Region.
