The National Assembly has approved the ratification of the Hague Conference on Private Law that amongst others provide for evidence obtained in another country to be admissible in Namibian courts. The international instrument, tabled by the Minister of Justice, Yvonne Dausab also provides for international recovery of child support and family maintenance as well as enforcing judgement in foreign courts pertaining to civil or commercial matters.
