The Namibian Food and Allied Workers Union and marine wildlife activists have called on Government not to approve phosphate mining, as it will destroy the thriving fishing sector. A handful of NAFAU members as well as Marine wildlife activists, turned up at a demonstration against the issuing of a clearance certificate for marine phosphate mining.
