The Secretary-General of the Namibia Bus and Taxi Association (NABTA), Penda Nakathingo says that his organisation is apolitical. He made these remarks after some individuals took to social media to condemn the N$100 price increase which was suggested by NABTA. NABTA has suggested that all long-distance transport operators add an additional N$100 on top of the existing price for all long-distance trips, irrespective of the distance.
