NAMDEB has decided to extend mining operations in Namibia for 20 years from next year creating 600 new jobs in the process. Its chief executive officer, Riaan Burger says the company plans to spend a whopping one-comma-eight billion dollars for a period of two years, to recapitalise and expand it's lifespan of diamond mining to 2042.
