Namibia does not recognise the Taliban government in Afghanistan and has called for a dialogue in the middle eastern country that has been characterised by gross human rights violations. The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah told the National Assembly that Namibia will keep advocating for a dialogue. She was responding to a question by the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) leader, McHenry Venaani on Namibia's position regarding the unfolding political situation in Afghanistan.
