Namibia, Monaco to collaborate in ocean conservation

Namibia and Monaco could collaborate in ocean conservation. President Hage Geingob held discussions with Albert II, Prince of Monaco at the United Nations (UN) Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, Scotland. Two months ago, Namibia and Monaco formally established bilateral relations, with Monaco hailing Namibia's efforts in the fight against desertification and other threats to the natural environment. Namibia's Ambassador to France, Spain, Portugal and Italy Albertus !Aochamub is also accredited to Monaco. He told NBC News that Prince Albert through his Foundation supports water resource management and other projects aimed at protecting the environment and this is to form the basis of the relations between the two countries
