Namibia records 70 new COVID-19 cases and 16 recoveries

Minister of Health Executive Director, Ben Nangombe this evening announced that Namibia has recorded 70 new COVID-19 positive cases and 16 recoveries. Out of these positive cases, 43 are from Walvis Bay, 12 are from Swakopmund, one from Luderitz, one from Engela and 13 are from Windhoek. The country now has 2 294 confirmed cases, with 187 recoveries and 2 096 active cases. The death toll still stands at 11. So far, 27 718 samples have been tested. Currently, 1 672 are in quarantine.
