Namibia records over 13 000 job losses between January 2020 and June 2021

Namibia has recorded a staggering 13 682 job losses from January 2020 to June 2021 due to a number of factors which include especially the Covid-19 pandemic and the economic recession. This worrying figure was released by the Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment Creation Deputy Minister Hafeni Ndemula in response to questions by opposition MPs in the National Assembly today.
