Namibian Lives Matter Movement asks for justice, divine intervention over BDF killings

Residents of Katima Mulilo attended a Namibian Lives Matter Movement prayer day on Tuesday. The group's national organising committee chairperson, Sinvula Mudabeti says the aim of the meeting, which was attended by members of different church denominations, was to ask for divine intervention and comfort from the highest of authorities. He says their prayer is for God to bless their fight against the brutal killings of innocent Namibians by the Botswana Defence Force (BDF) throughout the years and also an end to such brutality. Another peaceful demonstration is organised for Wednesday at the Katima Mulilo Sports Complex, where they will announce a set of new demands, calling for justice for the 37 people who died at the hands of the BDF over the years.
