Namibia's economy projected to grow by 2,1%

Namibia's economy is projected to grow by 2,1% during the 2021/2022 financial year, according to Cirrus Capital, which revised their outlook down from an initial forecast of 3,8%. Their head of research, Robert McGregor, attributes the slow growth rate to low diamond production, slow vaccine rollout, and the impact of COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions on key sectors, such as tourism.
