NamPost has temporarily closed its Walvis Bay Post Office, due to possible exposure to COVID-19. The area will be disinfected from tomorrow and may only reopen this coming Friday. The other post offices in Kuisebmund and Narraville, will only close tomorrow for precautionary disinfection and reopen on Wednesday. The decision comes after possible contact by an employee with a person who tested positive for COVID 19. The staff member has since been sent into self-isolation.
