NamPower is investigating one of its employee who was allegedly found in possession of warthogs and an impala. 48-year-old Joel Ochurub was charged with illegal hunting at Otjiwarongo Magistrate's Court and remanded in custody. He was arrested on Saturday near Kalkfeld and charged over wild animals allegedly found in his official vehicle. He indicated to the court that he would engage a private lawyer, and his case was then postponed to ninth of March next year for further police investigations. An empty hunting rifle bag was also found inside the vehicle. Police investigations into the matter continue.
