MP's in the National Council have expressed concern with the amount allocated to the Ministry of Youth, Sports and National Services in the Mid-Term budget, saying the money is too little to address youth unemployment and replace ageing sporting facilities country-wide. During the debate on the budget allocation of the ministry, the parliamentarians appealed to government to channel more resources to enable the ministry to fund youth activities.
