Despite progress made in the national vaccine coverage, uptake is still slow. Health and Social Services Minister, Dr Kalumbi Shangula says the slow uptake could lead to Namibia falling short of reaching its target of vaccinating at least 60% of the population. Government and other stakeholders are devising incentives to encourage vaccine uptake among eligible Namibians.
