The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) on Sunday reported that a San family received a house at Grootfontein, sponsored by the GIPF. The report has raised unrealistic expectation from the public, who may want GIPF to donate houses to homeless people. This is a violation of the GIPF rules as the institution only pays money to beneficiaries, service providers and its members. The NBC apologises for the inconvenience the report may have caused.
