Law makers in the National Council have called for a healthy balance to be struck between human life, wildlife and protected species. Contributing to the debate on the Controlled Wildlife Products and Trade Amendment Bill, Swapo MP, Steve Boois says loss of human life due to human-wildlife conflict is less of a concern and is not fully addressed in the bill.
