The newly elected bishop of the eastern diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Namibia (ELCIN), Reverend Martin Ngodji has died. His death was confirmed by ELCIN Secretary-General, Reverend Alpo Enkono. Dr Ngodjii was elected last month, as ELCIN presiding bishop after defeating Pastor Alpo Enkono. He died this morning at the Ondangwa Private Hospital, where he was transferred to from Onandjokwe State Hospital with breathing problems.
