The Namibia Public Passenger Transport Association (NPPTA) took to the streets this morning to demonstrate against seven-seater vehicles that they say are operating without necessary transport permits. They marched to the offices of the Ministry of Works and Transport to meet officials from the ministry. The demonstrators also want to meet the Inspector General of the Namibian Police and other top Government officials. They are threatening to take unspecified action if their demands are not met.
