NSA statistics show 43,3% of Namibians live in multi-dimensional poverty

The latest report released by the Namibia Statistic Agency (NSA) on Thursday has revealed that 43,3% of the total population in Namibia are living in multi-dimensional poverty. The Multidimensional Poverty Index measures the level of poverty based on various indicators such as school attendance, years of schooling, drinking water, sanitation, housing, transportation assets, ICT, cooking and lighting energy, and access to healthcare.
