Speaking at the same media conference, the Secretary-General of the National Union of Namibian Workers (NUNW) Job Muniaro, says the state of emergency prompted by COVID-19, has resulted in job losses and discriminative action against workers. Muniaro says actions by some employers in reducing salaries and forcing employees to take unpaid leave is inhumane.
