The Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) will give a 70% discount to visitors to all its resorts during weekdays for March 2021 in commemoration of Namibia's 31st Independence Anniversary. Mufaro Nesongano, NWR corporate communications manager, online media and sponsorships manager, says resorts such as Gross Barmen, Namutoni and Terrace Bay will cost as low as N$234, excluding meals. Dolomite, Onkoshi, Popa Falls and Sossus Dune Lodge will charge a daily rate of N$396, excluding meals. He said that those members of the public who might be unable to make use of the specials during the week can still make use of special rates that have equally been heavily discounted and include meals. NWR's managing director, Dr Matthias Ngwangwama, says the company has taken note of comments made about the low quality of some of its resorts and already started visiting the various resorts, to assess each establishment's status to act on basic and minor things that do not require huge monetary inputs.
