The National Youth Council has embarked on a number of projects aimed at addressing the challenges facing young people in Namibia, since independence. These include the establishment of a security company to create jobs; agriculture production centres, also involved in the de-bushing; and youth development grant programmes to assist young entrepreneurs with startup capital.
