Learners at Okaoko-Otavi Combined School, south of Opuwo in the Kunene Region, did not return for face-to-face learning due to a lack of water, as part of the requirement to curb the spread of COVID-19. National Planning Commission (NPC) Director-General Obeth Kandjoze has been paying visits to some schools in the region, to assess progress made in the renovation and construction of ablution facilities to make schools compliant with COVID-19 regulations.
