Okakarara town Council has elected Olga Tjiurutue as Mayor deputised by Asnath Jazukuka. The confirmation of the local authority councillors was delayed after the ECN was forced to verify the allocation of seats. Golden Katjatako was elected Chairperson of the Management Committee.
