Omaheke has made good progress in many areas, particularly road networks. This includes road networks between Gobabis, Aminus, Aranos, and Gobabis, Epukiro and Otjinene which connects to Otjozondjupa Region and as well as to Buitepos. Despite all these developments, the region needs a logistics hub and a convenient truck port to fully capitalise on the increased cargo destined for the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
