Omaheke Governor cautions residents against attending funerals and weddings

The Governor of the Omaheke Region, Pijoo Nganate is advising the residents of his region to take care when attending funerals and weddings. Of today's 432 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 24, all from Gobabis, are from the Omaheke Region. Two of the 13 deaths recorded nationwide are from that region. The Ministry of Health has continued to call for Namibians to observe social distancing, wash their hands or sanitise and wear a mask. Government has also instituted a 21h00 to 04h00 curfew and limited the number of people who are allowed to attend funerals and weddings.
