Additional charges have been brought against Rehoboth drug accused Naomi Fisch.
The State is accusing Fisch of obstructing the course of justice while she was out on bail.
According to the charge sheet, Fisch allegedly unlawfully and intentionally interfered with the legal process by submitting a document said to have originated from a local pharmacy in Rehoboth to the police to allow her to leave the town.
The document was allegedly presented as a referral letter authorising Fisch to seek medical treatment from a doctor in Windhoek.
Prosecutors further claim Fisch knew she did not have an active patient file at the pharmacy from which the document was purportedly issued.
Darryl Majiedt (32) is alleged to have requested the referral letter, while Magdalene Hodson (77) allegedly provided the document.
According to the State, Hodson handed the letter to Majiedt, who then allegedly passed it on for use by Fisch.
Bail in the amount of N$4,000 was granted to both Majiedt and Hodson.
Fisch remains in custody; she has three drug-related cases pending before the Rehoboth Magistrate's Court.
Fisch is entrusted with the services of criminal defence lawyer Mbanga Mbanga Siyomunji.
The matter has been postponed to 16 July 2026 for further police investigation.
